Vazan and the sands of time
The Montreal artist fell in love with the tidal islands around P.E.I.
I was thrilled when the National Gallery of Canada asked me to write about Bill Vazan’s photographs of the sandbars that appear, and disappear, twice daily around Prince Edward Island. I grew up on those sandbars, and I understand how fascinating they are in many ways. Please click here to read my short piece on Vazan’s work on the shores of my home province.
