Soccer: Canada's embrace of the world's beautiful game is seen in our art

National Gallery collection includes images of local players and pitches, and an epic video of a giant of the sport

I was excited to write about images of soccer in the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Canada, and about the gallery’s epic video installation on the French football giant Zinedine Zidane. (The video, seen in the still image above) is by the artists Douglas Gordon and Philippe Parreno.)
